Dr Nikki Fisicaro joining the clinical team at GenBiome - pHClinic in Balgowlah

We are excited to announce the opening of our first Satellite Clinic GenBiome x pHClinic in Balgowlah in March 2024 with Dr Nikki Fisicaro.

Dr Nikki is a metabolic doctor who works with patients to correct dysfunctions of metabolism, microbiome and mitochondria to tackle the root cause of chronic conditions.

‍

Dr Nikki was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2012. She worked in critical care medicine before commencing General Practice training in 2016.

‍

Becoming frustrated with the 15 minute consultation model of general practice, Dr Nikki chose a functional approach with the foundations of health and longevity in mind - nutrition, movement, connection, sleep and mindset. She is an avid proponent of de-prescribing pharmaceuticals whenever possible. Dr Nikki is nurturing a keen interest in circadian and quantum biology.

‍

Interests:

  • Metabolic and mitochondrial health
  • Root cause medicine
  • Ancestral health / Evolutionary lens
  • Photobiomodulation and circadian health
  • Low carb/keto/paleo/carnivore/AIP/GAPs protocols
  • Therapeutic/Intermittent fasting
  • Biohacking and Longevity

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

What if you're not seeing yourself as clearly as you think? by Dr. Greg Schreeuwer

I’ve spent more than twenty years asking one question, "Why do intelligent, capable people continue recreating experiences they consciously want to avoid?" The answer has gradually changed the way I understand health, human behaviour, and what it truly takes to create lasting change.
