About Me
“I believe mental health cannot be separated from the body. When we understand how our nervous system, physiology and lived experience interact, meaningful and sustainable change becomes possible.”
ABN: 83 261 408 263
Naomi supports mental health through a somatic, integrative approach that recognises the deep connection between mind, body and nervous system. She works from the understanding that anxiety, burnout, chronic illness and “mystery” symptoms are not just psychological - they are often rooted in nervous system dysregulation, stress physiology and lifestyle factors.
With a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy and experience across community family support and private healthcare settings, Naomi integrates counselling, functional medicine health coaching and body-based practices to support sustainable healing. Her work is particularly suited to individuals navigating chronic or complex health conditions, ongoing stress, or emotional overwhelm linked to physical health challenges.
Her approach is informed by polyvagal theory, somatic awareness, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness and psychoeducation. She helps clients build insight into how their physiology, stress patterns and life experiences interact - while developing practical strategies to restore resilience, regulation and self-trust.
Naomi works collaboratively with the GenBiome medical team, supporting patients through meaningful health journeys that bridge emotional wellbeing and physical health. She offers a grounded, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can explore challenges, clarify goals and move toward change in their own time and in their own way.
Naomi works with adults and teenagers and facilitates community wellbeing and chronic condition support groups.
